McCauliffe Makes Position Known on A-F Schools Grading

During his first “Ask the Governor” call-in radio program, Governor McAuliffe made his position well known on the A-F grading system for Virginia’s public schools. He advocated for “dismantling” the grading system for rating Virginia’s public schools noting that it stigmatizes students and teachers and could have an adverse economic impact on the schools’ communities.

“I don’t like this letter grade for our schools” commented McAuliffe.
