A recent learning activity at Patrick Henry Middle School in Sioux Falls, S.D. showcased the interaction of technology\/investigative skills\u00a0 and possible\u00a0career interests for sixth grade students.<\/p>\n
Using a guest speaker who was a forensic specialist in the local police department as a catalyst, students were given the opportunity to see and participate in the why’s and how’s of criminal investigation. The students\u00a0 had the chance to work with the investigation techniques under the supervision of\u00a0local law enforcement officer. This activity was specially designed as part of the technology education program\u00a0at Patrick Henry.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0outcomes of this activty were twofold:<\/p>\n
