Dr. Patricia I. Wright, Superintendent of Public Instruction announced on Friday, December 7, 2012 the signing of a Certificate of Recognition declaring January 20-26, 2013 Virginia School Principals Appreciation Week. In her comments, Dr. Wright noted “Our principals work diligently to help students and teachers excel, and their leadership and hard work are essential to the success of our schools.”
This memo went to all superintendents and I hope that your school division and community make special efforts to recognize your dedication and hard work not only during this special week, but all during the year.
